Story: This patch is inspired by my Nana Heather. Agriculture and farming has always been a large part of her identity, having lived rurally in Lincolnshire her whole life. And along with other crafts, gardening is a key part of her creative expression.

A potato is one of the simplest foods: cheap, hardy and nourishing. But the plant itself is beautiful with its dense foliage and purple flowers. And to this day, at the ago of 84, my Nana Heather still picks the potatoes from her garden.
